Too close for us to go to sleep with any resolution.

I'm excited for the Dems. I hope we all pull it off!

44. When the official results are in: Mr. Webb, do not concede!
I say this as someone who worked with pollworkers around the country and many in Virginia today. Based on the reports we received, there is absolutely no question in my mind that there was a deliberate effort in Virginia to disenfranchise voters, through intimidation and other misdeeds.

Mr. Webb - I believe this race is yours - please fight for it and make sure EVERY VOTE IS COUNTED!

... if all the votes that went to the Ind. Green candidate went to Webb instead, Webb would have the election in the bag. It's no wonder that the Republican Party loves to throw money at the greens.

Reminds me of 2000 and New Hampshire.

59. Hell, winning by 1 vote is a landslide as long as it's true.
Last year VA had a recount and it didn't flip the vote AT ALL in favor of the challenger. Therefore, Senator Macaca best get up in a few hours to work on his concession speech. If he doesn't, a fair recount will, given recent history, and the fact that the 33,000 yet to be counted votes are in a TRUE BLUE county (Fairfax) ... recount or not, Senator George Allen is out of a job. YES! This is good. ;)

61. If Webb expands his lead by .13% with those 33,000 Fairfax ballots
He will be over the 1% margin of victory. Yes, Allen can still insist on a recount BUT his campaign will have to pay for it (State wide!) and the odds of the votes flipping to his side are small to minute. :-)
