Democrats win control of Wisconsin Senate

State Journal staff, AP
Wisconsin Democrats regained control of the state Senate early today, breaking Republicans' lock on the state Legislature.

State Democratic Party Chairman Joe Wineke announced just after midnight that Democrats had picked up at least three seats from Republicans, who had previously held a 19-14 majority.

1. Yep. It's a new day in Wisconsin...
Where gays and lesbians are told to get to the back of the bus.

Where people want others put to death.

Yeah, new day in Wisconsin. A very sad day. At least in my house.

4. It won't happen...
They're going to be cautious with their newfound majority. Gays and lesbians are just a stepping stone now. The Republicans succeeded in making us that.
