Detroit Museum Sued for Damaging "Malcolm X" Manuscript

The owner of 15 unpublished pages of Alex Haley's manuscript for "The Autobiography of Malcolm X" has sued a Detroit museum over its handling of the historical papers.

1. a few yrs ago a library destroyed many Civil Rights historical documents

The valuable documents had been loaned for a historical display. The people working on the display cut up the documents for collages.

Was the library in CA????

People working at libraries and museums are supposed to know how to treat historical documents.
