Rice demands 'concrete step forward' on NKorea nuclear talks
HANOI (AFP) - US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has warned that North Korea has to do more to show it was committed to resuming crunch talks on dismantling its nuclear weapons drive.

"We need a concrete step forward," Rice said after joining ministers for talks dominated by the North Korean crisis on the sidelines of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation ( APEC) forum.

Other foreign ministers also kept up the pressure on the Stalinist regime, saying the negotiations had to show real progress when they restarted, or the world community would quickly lose faith in the process.

"I do think after having set off a nuclear test the North Koreans need to do something to demonstrate they actually are committed to denuclearization that goes beyond words," Rice told reporters after the meeting.

"I think there is some scepticism about that."

3. Did you check the chamber for "magic bullets" before ejecting
this drivel. I think we've found the Iraqi WMD only it belonged to North Korea who has a brutal, looney dictator. And then there's Iran with similar gusto. Good grief, Secretary of State, more like Ministry of Oil Procurement.

5. 1 25 pound bag of quick setting portland cement
mixed in 3:1 ratio with sand, should be enough for condi to sink her feet in to.

Then we can toss the concrete step in to the sea off inchon and see if it makes a difference.

6. Secretaries of State.........
aren't they supposed to have something to do with diplomacy, actually talking to other heads of State to iron out differences? I know, it's a novel concept for anyone in the Bush administration, but hey, it just might work? Now..........if we could only find someone to fit the bill. I wonder........... Condi, maybe?

7. Condi-come-lately...
They've been waving nukes in our faces for 2+ years, and now this has some kind of urgency? Iran may be next, all with clear warning. The pots are all boiling over, while The Bush regime just stares out the window toward Iraq...
