Spain unveils Mid-East peace plan
"Spain, Italy and France are to launch a new Middle East peace initiative, Spain's prime minister has said.
"Peace between Israel and the Palestinians means to a large extent peace on the international scene," Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero said.

He said a plan would be put to an EU summit in December and he hoped it would be backed by the UK and Germany.

The proposal would include an immediate ceasefire and the formation of a Palestinian unity government."

I vote we look at everything. The French & Spanish have far more influence in the Arab world than we do.

1. Yeah .... THATS what Im talkin about ....
Finally .... SOMEONE talkin peace ...

The GOP neoconvicts must be puking at the mere thought ....

George Bush could never in a MILLION YEARS consider peace ....

Peace is bad for his business of ripping off the nation andletting his friends rape american taxpayers ....

GOOD on Spain, Italy and France ...

2. I look forward to hearing the many reasons why this cannot be done
and why Europe has no interest in this mess. :sarcasm:

It is good to see the "New Europe" start to stand up for itself and take a hand in it's own and the World's business.

5. Of course we look at everything
Hopefully, the I's and the P's will listen.

I'm not sure what it would take for peace to come though. But dang, it's got to happen. The alternative just isn't acceptable.

6. This can only work IF....
...they can secure "an immediate ceasefire" from all actors! I don't see that happening, but who knows, perhaps IJ and AMB and the others will oblige. Don't know if we don't try.
