Bush Warns N. Korea: Don't Spread Nukes

By TANALEE SMITH

SINGAPORE Nov 16, 2006 (AP)— President Bush on Thursday warned North Korea
against transferring nuclear weapons or material to other countries, saying such an
act would be considered a "grave threat" to the United States.

The standoff over North Korea's nuclear weapons program is atop the agenda
in most of the meetings the president will have during his eight-day, three-nation
Asian trip, which kicked off with a speech in Singapore.

"The transfer of nuclear weapons or material by North Korea to states or non-state
entities would be considered a grave threat to the United States and we would hold
North Korea fully accountable for the consequences of such action," Bush said in the
speech at the National University of Singapore.

Ahead of its Oct. 9 nuclear test, North Korea pledged not to launch a first strike or
allow its bomb technology to be spread outside the country.

1. So, is this warning a pre-news to make new news?
Will there be news in the near future that NK transferred nuke material to other places with it being made up news to fit *'s warning? Or has NK already done this, and * is making a warning, then it will be "found out", and * will be able to make more ripping speeches about how the Dems let the terrorists win?

I swear, I cannot trust anything that comes from this asshat and his group of thugs.

4. Or what? He'll beat them with a wet noodle?
Since Bush has destroyed our national security (and our military) by getting us stuck in the Iraq nightmare, what does he have left to push these people around with except a lot of hot air (of which he has plenty)?

5. BUSH: "We will not tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea."
That is what Bush had to say about North Korea's nuclear program in May 2003.

We will not tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea. We will not give into blackmail. We will not settle for anything less than the complete, verifiable, and irreversible elimination of North Korea's nuclear weapons program.

This latest position on the matter could be interpreted as an admission that he has no effective way to deal with what he has claimed to be a threat to the United States.

9. FUCK YOU, Bush
What are you going to do about it, speak even more sternly to them if they do it?

I, for one, am sick and tired of the United States telling every other country in the world what they can and cannot do. We wouldn't even have to be worrying about other countries trying to nuke us if we minded our own business.

11. Another neocon strawman
We released classified miniture nuke warhead plans to China. Bush corporation Loral transferred ICBM targeting telemetry technology to Red China. Recently, nuclear bomb plans were disclosed on the internet by the Bush administration.

There is simply no evidence whatever that N.Korea has transferred nuclear materials or technology to anyone. On the other hand, the American ally in the war of terror, Pakistan, has been repeatedly rewarded for supporting bin Laden and the Taleban, carrying out terror campaigns against India, and proliferating and developing a nuclear weapons arsenal.

We simply have zero credibility on non-proliferation.
