BAGHDAD, Nov 21 (Reuters) - A U.S. air strike in Baghdad's Sadr City district
killed at least three people on Tuesday when U.S.-led forces mounted their
latest raid in the hunt for death squads and a kidnapped U.S. soldier, Iraqi
officials said.

Iraqi Health Ministry spokesman Abdul Ahdi said the dead included a six-month-
old baby and that up to 50 people had been wounded. Other Iraqi officials put
the number of wounded at 15.

The Interior Ministry said U.S. and Iraqi forces raided the sprawling slum
suburb of about 2 million at 5 a.m. (0200 GMT), sparking clashes with militiamen
loyal to Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.

U.S. military spokesman Colonel Christopher Garver said he was checking the
reports. "We are continually conducting operations in search of our missing
soldier and in relation to other intelligence targets," he told Reuters.

7. Who says that the elimination of poverty...
(not to mention "middle classes" wherever they exist) isn't a priority among America's current executive "leadership"?

4. Wouldn't an air strike
in an area we believe a missing soldier to be, be a bit dangerous? I mean, they don't know where he is, and if he had been in the area that was targeted, he would probably be dead or seriously injured by the strike.

8. The lesson I see in this illegal war
is that the president is a barbarian, a coward, and the worst president in our history. I think Iraqis have already made their decisions about this debacle, and killing more innocent citizens is only going to reinforce what they already know. The one who should have studied lessons about unprovoked, brutal invasions and occupations, is currently stenching up the White House. But I understand what you mean. By the way, my son-in-law holds dual U.S. and Canadian citizenship. He is absolutely one of the best men I've ever known. My daughter is lucky, and so am I.

5. Well, I guess that gets around the roadblock restriction...
It's the "let-God-sort-'em-out" strategy.
