Mugabe, Ahmadinejad thumb nose at US, Britain
ZIMBABWEAN President Robert Mugabe and Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday revelled in their dubious title of "outposts of tyranny" and vowed more defiance against the United States and Britain.

The two leaders stood side by side in Tehran, the Iranian capital, and denounced British Prime Minister Tony Blair and US President George Bush as "evil". snip.

Mugabe sid Iran should be hailed for preserving the "independence and sovereignty" of it's neighbours. Ahmadinejad repaid the compliment, describing the 82-year-old Zimbabwean leader as a "just leader, a person who loves freedom and a freedom fighter".

Mugabe said: "We have a fight to put against these evil men (British and US leaders Tony Blair and George Bush) and their evil systems. Countries with leaders who think alike must come together and work out mechanisms to defend ourselves."

Fortunately for the world, his sphere of influence doesn't go beyond Zimbabwe.

2. If these countries
are both indeed "outposts of tyranny", why is the US obsessed with Iran while ignoring Zimbabwe?
The Bush administration's concern for human rights seems highly selective.

And when the corrupt torturer of Equatorial Guinea shows up in Washington, he gets the red carpet and dinner at the White House!
