Plain Dealer Bureau

Columbus -

...Using rocks, bricks and even a padlock, a man has shattered glass windows and doors at the two-story building five times this month, causing thousands of dollars in damage and nearly knocking out an employee.

A report on Friday's attack describes the suspect as white and between the ages of 20 and 30. It says he was wearing a white baseball cap, white tennis shoes, dark pants and a down jacket.

On Thanksgiving, however, police identified another suspect, describing him as white, 50, with graying brown hair and a beard.

"He is a known protester that has been seen damaging one of the windows this month," the report says...

5. And computers stolen
Usually the Democratic HQ break-ins feature the disappearance of hard drives, computers, and other vital/secret data.

The Plumbers live.

2. Doesn't that asshole know it takes natural resources to replace all that glass?
All he's doing is increasing the carbon-footprint of The Ohio GOP.

I'm not going to condone vandalism, but if he really feels the need to resort to it, then he should use a water-soluble natural pigment to vandalize the building.

Geesh!

It's always a few crazies making the rest of us look bad.

by making it look like revenge.

Rove's 2001 playbook - make it look like the 'sore losers' trashed the White House on their way out to gin up extra poll support for the Bushboy and drive Dem numbers down.

11. The Republican Chair milks it:
In the first incident, he threw a large, broken padlock through a side window, nearly hitting a staffer in the head. He caused $500 in damage and sent state party Chairman Bob Bennett into a rage.

"It's no coincidence this stuff happens every two years right before Election Day," Bennet said then. "Democrats love to complain about negative ads and gutter politics, but they turn a blind eye while their own activists engage in illegal and, at times, violent campaign tactics."

I wonder what it costs them to get this done.

13. Did you catch the part
that the Republicans aren't going to release the picture of the perpetrator because the police advised them not to? That happens. It must be the Party Chair's grandson, working for the first time in his life.

14. Oh yeah,
and the crime spree included, are you ready, the theft of newspapers from the doorway of the HQ!! Thank God, that evil criminal may have been caught, and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, then sent to Gitmo.

This is pathetic.

That's the point of the vandalism, to help the Republicans.
