2. What's with the abuse? |
|
Why are they showing up like this? Dead, well I can kinda see...it is war after all.
By why torture?
Is really gangsters staking out territory? That's what I'm thinking.

3. If your mother was killed in a market by a suicide bomber |
|
you might want to drill a few skulls, too. Of course, that is just an extreme hypothetical but you see what I am getting at, don't you?

4. can you imagine the outrage if 48 Americans were tortured and killed . . . |
|
on the same day? . . . in a state or region the size of Iraq? . . .
why is this somehow less important, less worthy of notice, or any less horrific because it's happening to Iraqis in Iraq? . . . this apathy to carnage is a huge failure of American morality -- particularly since it's happening because we invaded and occupied a sovereign nation that didn't threaten us in any way . . .
just once I'd like to see the media express -- and the public feel -- the sense of horror and regret that's due these victims . . . it's particularly disgusting when people who consider themselves "religious" have no empathy whatsoever because, after all, "they're only Iraqis" (sometimes expressed, sometimes merely implicit) . . .
every one of these individuals had a mother, a father, sons, daughters, grandparents, cousins, nieces, nephews and/or others who loved them just as much as (most) Americans love their families and friends . . . relegating their stories to a brief mention on Page 18B -- or not mentioning them at all -- says a lot about American ethics and morality, and it's pretty ugly . . .

5. Been wondering if this are from the secret prisons of BFEE |
|
or other torture chambers of current admin or from the contractors - no more abu grab and insted this - just wondering - since we taught torture and the arabs seem to favor beheadings - it would seem it came from westerns
