Feb. 20, 2007

MNF-W Forces Attacked
Multi-National Force – West PAO

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Soldier assigned to Multi-National Force-
West was killed Feb. 20 while conducting combat operations in Al
Anbar Province.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification
of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.

2. US Marine also killed Tuesday
Feb 21 (Reuters) - A U.S. marine was killed in combat on Tuesday in Al Anbar Province, the U.S. military said.

A U.S. soldier was also killed in action on Tuesday in the same area.

4. seriously, I've not noticed any difference in amount of violence
since they began "the surge"....seems more like a "purge" in deaths everyday. :eyes:

6. 2 more soldiers killed Wednesday
-- Two soldiers were killed and three more were wounded when a roadside bomb targeting their Iraqi Army convoy exploded near Jadriya bridge in southern Baghdad Wednesday morning.
