It's jumpjng all over and pausing and missing things and half words. I can't stand it. I had high speed for 2 years after about 6 years of dialup, then I moved about 6 months ago to a place with no hispeed access. I don't even wait to watch videos I'd really want to see. I gave it a shot for ya though.

Even with a high speed connection, network bottlenecking and 'slash-dotting' happens.
I simply load them, start them in a tabbed window, kill the sound and go back to my 'reading'; let the buffer in the browser takeover!
Then go back to the tabbed window and you'll find that the video played through and you can simply 'watch again'. Essentially you have downloaded the file in your cache and that is what you are watching the second time without the stuttering, stopping and usual transmission bugs. It becomes 'local'.
I'll let three or four run in tabbed windows and then just go bakc and watch them in sequence. Nobody ever claimed really that the internet would necessary mean 'on demand'. There are some limitations to this and it has very little to do with your internet speed, so don't get too upset. (sure large files are problematic -- but there is still a lot you can do without much difference -- offline browsing and site ripping is always an option)
If you use Firefox, you can get any number of plug-ins that will download video clips. I use that if the clip is longer than 20 minutes or so (and then just 'bite' it if it is full-length!)

7. Ownership society dictates the rules ... |

Madness, sheer insanity ... that ANY court system would waste their time on a case like this while so many people are in need of life's basic necessities ... food and shelter ... shame on them ...
Did they go home that night chortling, "Yeah, we got her! ... Taught HER a lesson today" ... ?
