Angry, shirtless Sarkozy jumps aboard N.H. photographer's boat
Source: AP - Maine Today

CONCORD, N.H. — French President Nicolas Sarkozy lost his temper with two American news photographers covering his vacation Sunday, jumping onto their boat and scolding them loudly in French.

The confrontation came Sunday afternoon as Sarkozy and companions were headed for open water in a boat on Lake Winnipesaukee when he spotted Associated Press photographer Jim Cole and freelancer Vince DeWitt aboard Cole's boat, which was outside a buoy barrier monitored by the New Hampshire Marine Patrol.

Before Sarkozy spotted him, Cole had driven his boat up to the patrol boat, identified himself and received permission to be there.

...

Sarkozy picked up DeWitt's camera but then put it down. A woman then spoke up in English and relayed Sarkozy's request to be left alone, DeWitt said. The woman did not identify herself.

6. Maybe he said "Va te fair foutre"
or perhaps since there were two of them he was addressing, "Allez vous fair foutre."

Wonder if he accompanied it with the appropriate hand getures too?

va te faire foutre

Literally, 'Go do / make yourself.' One of the most vulgar forms of dismissal in the French language. To execute the gesture, make a fist with the right hand, and extend the arm out straight, parallel to the ground, fingers up. With the left hand open, slap the right bicep just above the elbow while raising the right forearm upwards to 90 degrees. Known as the 'Bras d'honneur.'

Roughly equivalent to fuck off, go fuck yourself, up yours, etc.

12. Sarkozy scolds US photographers
Two American news photographers say French President Nicolas Sarkozy shouted at them and jumped onto their boat during his holiday in the US.

The photographers had gone out onto Lake Winnipesaukee on Sunday to take pictures of Mr Sarkozy, who is staying at a luxury villa in New Hampshire.

They said Mr Sarkozy's boat drew up alongside theirs and he jumped aboard, wearing only his swimming trunks.

He was "very agitated", speaking rapid French "at a loud volume", one said.

15. Sarkozy's holiday mood darkens after furious row in US
Source: The Guardian

The French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, has lived up to his tough-talking reputation in an extraordinary outburst against two photographers while on holiday in the United States.

A furious Mr Sarkozy, clad only in his swimming trunks, leapt into a boat carrying the paparazzi and began shouting at them after he spotting them taking pictures.

Unfortunately, the president's tirade - delivered in French - was entirely lost on the photographers, neither of whom could understand a word he was saying.

And Mr Sarkozy was unaware they had been given permission by a local marine patrol to be at that spot on the lake.

Apparently, he also grabbed some woman's breast on his little vacation?
I wonder if Sarkozy was in a Speedo?

Miller is a hoot.
I only recently discovered her.

31. From what I have read
Sarkozy has started the ball rolling on some much needed reforms to the French economy. He played a large part in EU restructuring and at the G8 summit. He was instrumental in securing the release of the Palestinian and Bulgarian health workers that have been imprisoned for years in Libya for supposedly infecting hundreds of Libyan children with AIDS. And he is taking the lead in a major revamping of Airbus management. Plus I kinda like relations with France getting back on a solid footing. But then I lived in europe for a couple years too so its a fairly personal thing to me. :-)
