Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked
Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – A Task Force Lightning Soldier died of wounds
sustained from enemy gunfire in Baghdad Province, Thursday.

One Soldier was treated locally for superficial wounds and
returned to duty.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending
notification of next of kin and release by the Department
of Defense.

BAGHDAD – An MNC-I Soldier died of non-battle related causes
August 16 in Baghdad.

An investigation into the cause of death will be conducted.

The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending notification
of next of kin.

NOTE TO EDITORS: This is the second report of an MNC-I
Soldier non-battle death from Aug. 16. The reporting is
accurate. There were two deaths.


BAGHDAD – Thursday, a MNC-I Soldier died of non-battle related
cause in Baghdad.

An investigation into the cause of death will be conducted.

The name of the individual is being withheld pending notification
of next of kin.
