Michigan Information & Research Service via MichiganLiberal.comThe Michigan Court of Appeals Friday evening knocked down any hope that the Michigan Presidential Primary, as enacted by the Legislature, will proceed - barring a last minute intercession next week by the Supreme Court.
"The easiest thing now would be to go to the Legislature," said Saul Anuzis, chair of the Michigan Republican Party about reviving an early
presidential selection process for Michigan. "The leadership is on board."
Anuzis added that with the late hour of the decision's release Friday, an appeal to the Supreme Court could not be made tonight and would have to wait until next week.
Liz Boyd, spokeswoman for Gov. Jennifer Granholm said the administration is in the process of reviewing the court ruling.

This is a victory for the people of Michigan. Hopefully it will be upheld by the state Supreme Court and we'll go back to our original caucus plan. The primary plan totally backfired and if it goes through it will be like handing the state to Hillary on a silver platter.
