3. She injected $5M of her own cash in January. |
|
While Obama was raising $32M in January, the Clinton campaign raised $14.5M.

4. It appears she does not know how to manage money |
|
On Monday night, before Super Tuesday, when asked by David Letterman how much her campaign had earned, her reply was $100 million.
Where did that money go?

5. How many paid staff, how much travel budget, facilities rentals, airfares ??? |
|
An overnight organization the size of a city, much of it on the move. But the big item is media costs.

7. From my armchair, it just seems a distraction from the issues again. |
|
Who does it serve to focus on this instead of Iraq?

10. *shrug* not a big deal. |
|
If you are worried that it might mean she would screw our country with spending, bad news...the current president already did that. The worst that can happen is we sink just a little bit more in the hole though I am not worried about it really since I dont think Hillary is as stupid as Bush and she will have advisors and staff she will hopefully listen to again unlike Bush. Course thats assuming she wins, Obama has just a good a chance I think. Either way as long as its just about none of the republicans I dont think we can do any worse so lets just make sure we dont get someone like Huckabee, Mitt or McCain.

|

it just shows that they truly support her, in fact it puts a better light on her in that she can claim her people were willing to not be paid where as Obamas were not.

11. It shows nothing of the sort |
|
She and her campaign have raised $100 MILLION. And now they don't have enough money to pay staff?
Someone needs a reality check.

it's worth working without pay for one month, in exchange for the promise of lucrative, power positions in her government if she wins.
it's called a gamble.
Nothing altruistic about it.

12. I appreciate that kind of commitment. |
|
What choice do they have, really? I mean, if she was my boss, and my candidate, and I could afford to miss a month's pay, would I do it? Sure.
At that level of commitment, the money is no doubt the least of it. Forget 10 hour days, forget five day weeks, it's probably all day every day and a rare day off.
I'm sure it's the same for the Obama people. Except for the broke part. But the commitment part, and the no time off part.
Wishing them all the best. It's a shame only one can succeed.

23. For the job they're doing they shouldn't get paid |
|
Clinton was supposed to win this in a cake walk. Now she's in trouble. Who do these people think they are, CEO's? They're the only people I know that get paid more if they fail more.

19. Desperate times for Hillary |
|
require desperate measures.
Hillary raises 1/2 as much as Obama in January Hillary loans her campaign $5M of her own money before super tuesday (I'll assume that money is already spent) Staff takes voluntary month without pay Hillary paints Obama as the party's "establishment" candidate in Virginia yesterday.
