6. The polls of Hillary's consistent negatives are accruate.
This is a good poll and is supported by others. However, as Hillary desperately tries to paint herself as "more electable" than Obama, she and her team are trying to pull a magic act. Hillary would start the general election with the highest negatives of virtually any presidential candidate in recent decades. Several polls RIGHT NOW show her with 50%+ national UNfavorability. These numbers have been CONSISTENT across numerous polls for years now let alone months. They are unlikely to change. Electibility? It's a no-brainer. Obama is bringing in Independents and even cross-over Republicans who we need to win the general election. The Republicans are HOPING and PRAYING we will be foolish enough to nominate her. I know some R's and I's who tell me they'd vote for Obama but will see themselves in HELL before they would vote for Hillary. It's incontrovertable. GO OBAMA !!

10. Do you know how they calculate "Nationally"? I mean nothing
matters except those who haven't voted in a primary yet. I have never seen the methodology or heard anyone talk about it. Also curious about whether or not they include MI and FL.

11. Hearing same in RI. . .
. . .you summarized completely the perception I have had all last year right up to now regarding Hillary's elect-ability. . .NOT. . . in numerous political conversations around RI and when I was in San Diego. Where is she getting this mis-perception of her elect-ability???

Delusional . . .really hyped delusion to say
Hillary is more electable. . .wow. . . MAKES ME WONDER HOW SHE AND HER SUPPORTERS WILL TAKE TO LOSING. . .this is the stuff of Shakespearean drama. . .

The way I've come to see this primary is that we're damn lucky to have Obama winning over the hearts of Americans across the political spectrum. . .very lucky indeed for November.

16. HE BETTER BE CLEAN
Flowery speeches are indeed inspiring, but Obama has not been properly vetted. Patrick Fitzgerald has mentioned Obama in the on-going trial of his benefactor. The super delegates will decide whether or not the GOP can attack Obama and paint him as a corrupt politician. They have an uncanny knack of turning a puff of smoke into a 5-alarm fire. If they can, he'll lose 20% of his support overnight and we'll end up McCain.

18. and hillary still refuses to release her financial records...
until she has the nomination? WTF? Who knows what she's hiding, and I don't want to wait until she has the nomination to find out. Whomever is the nominee, will get trashed by the right, we know that. If the other failed campaigns had anything of substance on Obama, they would have used it long before now, especially the Clinton campaign.

By whom? He's been vetted by the worst, sleaziest , muddiest, and down and dirty organizations known to man- The Clinton Campaign and the Arms Industry lobbyists.

Apparently, not by you. You lack specifics like the GOP, if you say something enough times, it becomes true. Won't work this time.

19. Of course...
Wake up Democrats! Why do you think that McCain is just now starting to attack Obama so ferociously!!!! He knows he stands NO chance against him and would much rather have Hillary to beat upon in the general election. Fool us once (2000 election), shame on them (Republicans). Fool us twice (2004 election), shame on us Democrats. Fool us a third time, may as well become Republican...

I'd like to see what the figures look like for just Texas. There are a lot of pledged delegates in Texas. If Obama can keep it close the race is over.

25. Polls mean nothing
Edited on Sat Feb-16-08 11:23 PM by RestoreGore
And any thinking person doesn't subscribe to them. It is just another form of manipulation and disenfranchisement. I mean, why should voters in primary states coming up even bother to vote when the media and the polls are already picking the leader and winner already? What bs.
