Ron Paul to End Campaign, Launches New Effort
Supporters Plot Shadow Convention, More Revolution
By Z. BYRON WOLF
June 12, 2008

Rep. Ron Paul's presidential campaign, a pugnacious, ideological crusade against big government and interventionist leanings in the Republican party, will officially end Thursday at a rally outside the Texas GOP's convention, ABC News has learned.

7. There's no chance in hell he's endorsing McCain
Just on the Iraq issue, McCain is digging himself a deeper hole with Ron Paul, his supporters, and libertarians. McCain is content to keep troops in Iraq in perpetuity, focusing only on casualties. He doesn't understand that it's about blood AND treasure. I feel a landslide shaking up for this election.

2. What happened to his super-rally near the GOP Convention?
I thought he was going to have this huge rally/convention just days before the GOP convention so that he could get his 15 minutes of fame.

Plus, he's still getting a considerable amount of money from supporters. By all means, Ron Paul, PLEASE do continue your run! I would absolutely encourage all those who do not support McCain or Obama to vote for you! I love me some conservative Third Party candidates like Paul and Barr!

8. It's a rally to celebrate true Republican values
not to endorse Ron Paul for President. I'm sure it's still on and now he won't draw as much fire from Republicans accusing him of trying to stab McCain in the back.

http://www.campaignforliberty.com/

The mission of the Campaign for Liberty is to promote and defend the great American principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, sound money, free markets, and a noninterventionist foreign policy, by means of educational and political activity.

Americans inherit from their ancestors a glorious tradition of freedom and resistance to oppression. Our country has long been admired by the rest of the world for her great example of liberty and prosperity – a light shining in the darkness of tyranny.

But many Americans today are frustrated. The political choices they are offered give them no real choice at all. For all their talk of “change,” neither major political party as presently constituted challenges the status quo in any serious way. Neither treats the Constitution with anything but contempt.

9. I'm in Bellingham. Every week there's Ron Paul robots standing with signs on one of the overpasses.
I'm always tempted to lean my head out the window and tell them that nobody cares about Paul, but that would just egg them on.
