Warpy
True, this little toad have killed many american and have maimed and wounded more than we know today. Ten of thousands of vetrans from this war would be given an rather bad treatment when they are coming home, and the VA medical senters would be swamped with ten of thousands of vetrans with injuries who are dificult to repair in the first case.. And if it goes as after the Vietnam wars, it would be hard for them to get the medical help they would need for many year to come. Maybe for the rest of their life. And as we humans tends to live longer and be old it would cost the US a lot of money just to keep for the maimed and wounded Veterans...
And today US don't have that type of money to help Vetrans with complicated medical needs.. If half the stories about veterans who are been treated as second class citizens is true, you would find thousands of them in the street fighting for their life, as homeless, dirt poor, and often treated with contempt by the rest of the public That happen end after the Vietnam war you know.. How many Veterans, died in the gutter around the big cities in the US between 1975-1989?.. Or was arrested for trespassing, or criminality and would end up in some of the prison complex who was been build in the same time?
I would guess, if he ever was to come to US, as he originally wanted. He was less than pleased when the US government put him in Germany, and that the German immigration government was sending him, and his family not to a big castle, or some posh house. But to an rather less than stellar home... He would be beaten badly up, or in many cases also been frozen out of the community he was chosen to live in... I guess even that guards have to be posted, to get him safe, when he was out of the house and something like that..
He has to this day never committed an criminal act in Germany itself.. So I guess german authority would not do to much to prosecute "curve ball". But if an different Administration in US wanted him send to them, I would be very sure that the german authority would be PLEASED to get him out of the country as fast as the aircraft could possible do it... He is not popular in Germany either.. And for his own safety his whereabout is strictly confidential, so no one with a problem would find him, and treat him bad.. The german authority take their obligation to human rights an so on mutch more to the letter than the currend US Administration would do it seems... They at least have learned "something" after the end of the WW2 I guess..
