Diplomat who blew the whistle on falsified evidence

When Joseph Wilson got the call from Vice- President Dick Cheney's office asking for assistance, the former diplomat had no qualms.

The request related to a disturbing report from Italian intelligencesuggesting Iraq was buying uranium from Niger and trying to restart its nuclear weapons programme.

In February 2002, the CIA asked Mr Wilson to go to Niger as soon as possible, speak to the contacts he developed there as ambassador between 1976-78, and establish whether the reports were true. "I had been asked to look into whether it was feasible that Niger had entered into an agreement to sell uranium to Iraq," he told The Independent on Sunday.

Cheney gave him this mission, and Wilson can blow Cheney out of the water with it.

3. Italian, huh? In SOTU it was the UK that gave us the report:

Bush said and I quote:
"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."

I haven't seen that particular inconsistency pointed out yet.

which they later named as Italy.

so this is my question-

obviously Berlusconi is another fascist who is happy to help the Bush fascists to lie their war into a war of aggression.

but who got Italy to fake the docs, then?

or if Italy faked them, why such obvious forgeries?

...and since Italy was among the coalition of the billing, why did Cheney set himself up by asking Wilson to check it out, unless...

Cheney, just like Bush, if this other guy, Wilkinson, whoever he is, can be believed, refused to accept anything but what they wanted to hear.

this is inexcusable. this shows that they are a danger to both America and the entire world if they refuse to believe reputable sources which disprove what they want to believe.

we need to have Cheney, Bush, Rummy, Wilson and Wilkerson UNDER OATH to get to the truth of this issue.

As John Dean noted, lying to take us into war based on forged documents is a felony. He used the terms, "Conspiracy to defraud the American people, and conspiracy to defraud an agency of the Federal Government."

If the repukes cannot investigate this possible felony, while they wasted SEVENTY MILLION taxpayer dollars hounding Clinton through two terms, then I say it's time for the entire Congress to GET OUT because they are not upholding their oath of office if they refuse to investigate a conspiracy against the American people.
