Law Makers Fail to Pass Gas Measure
Source: Associated Press

As its last major act, the House passed by a 409-4 vote its first spending bill, a $72.7 billion measure awarding generous increases to veterans programs and military base construction projects.

3. Pssttt, MSM, nothing they passed would change the price
of gas right now. Stop spread false 'hope' that a quickly passed law would lower the price of gasoline anytime soon.

5. I got to give the props to Pelosi on this one-
it took some stones to stand up not only to the repukes, but to the oil lobby and the dumb ass uninformed public. At least they got this one right. If bush calls 'em back, tell him there still won't be a vote.
