TS Hanna Could Strengthen Into A Hurricane
Source: CBS



Hanna is a tropical storm north of Puerto Rico, moving west near 12 miles per hour and may turn west northwest later on Saturday followed by a turn back to the west on Sunday, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 50 miles per hour, but Hanna could be near hurricane strength on Sunday.

All eyes are on Gustav; don't forget Hanna is out there, too folks. The model tracks are pretty strange for this one. Could be another "Betsy".

Still hope ridge doesn't materialize and she goes out to see. Going south of us into the Gulf... man... those poor people in the Gulf. It would be like 2004 was for us.

2. Now that the storms seem to be coming off the assembly line
in rapid succession. perhaps the RNC should consider postponing until AFTER THE HURRICANE SEASON IS OVER. Like, December.
