WASHINGTON, July 8 (Reuters) - The speed of the U.S. military push across Iraq and into Baghdad set the stage for post-war problems, including attacks on American forces, a top Pentagon policy official said on Tuesday.

"We're facing some problems brought on by our very successful war," said Douglas Feith, the undersecretary of defense for policy.

U.S. forces swept into Baghdad on April 9, 20 days after war was launched against Iraq on March 20.

Post-war problems include looting, sabotage and attacks on U.S. forces in Iraq, Feith said at a forum organized by the Center for Strategic and International Studies think tank.

Now with Rummy's incompetence and huge ego....no supplies are reaching the troops, there arent enough troops there....rather than admit the uniformed military was right....the civilian neo-cons in the pentagon continue to lie and let the troops suffer.
