1. Actually it looks like it is his 10th consecutive day solely in the lead |

with that elad extending to 18 of the 19 days on your graph. That sole day was still a tie for him! Hopefully he can maintain that for the next 30 days!

Obama held particularly large leads over McCain from Oct. 1-2, possibly resulting from Americans' focus on the Wall Street financial crisis and congressional rescue plan dominating the news at that time. Since then, support for Obama has remained about the same, at the 49% to 50% level, while support for McCain has increased slightly, with an associated decline in the percentage of undecided voters."

4. I doubt if you will ever see Gallup admitting Obam's lead over McCain |

to be higher than 7. It must have gone deeply against the grain to do that.
