CBS/NYT Poll: Obama Maintains Double-Digit Lead

With just twelve days left until Election Day,
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama
holds a 13 point lead over Republican rival John
McCain, a new CBS/New York Times poll shows.

Obama now leads McCain 52 percent to 39 percent
among likely voters nationwide ...

7. People just don't seem to realize
McCain's got Obama just where he wants him -- up 13 points with 12 days to go. Why can't Obama close the deal?

I also wonder what Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are going to do when that Beatles bubble finally bursts...

have different results than Gallup, Hotline, etc...

8. well the Gallup poll...
for LV is down to 6 points (it was 10 points 2 days ago)....I truly feel that Obama is ahead by 5-8 points nationally....somewhere in that range, which will be a blowout on election day :-)

13. Now wait a f-----g minute I just heard Anderson
Cooper tell Larry King McCain is getting momentum. Then I check realpolitics.com and Obama's lead is actually slightly larger today 7.5, yesterday it was 7.2. Where are they getting this crap? :shrug:

14. I think it is now safe to say that the real national lead for Obama is around 10 points.
Not the 6-7 points of a few days ago. This may be partially a result of the "Palin wardrobe malfunction"
