Palin calls Bush a major obstacle for campaign
Source: MSNBC

GREEN, Ohio - President Bush’s unpopularity is the No. 1 problem for the Republican presidential ticket, vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin said in an interview airing Friday, breaking sharply with the president as the campaign enters its final days.

Palin made her remarks in an interview Wednesday with Brian Williams, anchor of “NBC Nightly News.” Beginning with that interview and continuing in newspaper interviews and campaign speeches, Palin and Republican presidential nominee John McCain have made it clear that they are determined to disassociate themselves from the president ...

5. Can't break away from that ball and chain, sister. You own him and his policies.
You GOPers loved him, called it "Bush Derangement Syndrome" whenever anyone disagreed with him, forced him and Cheney and their retarded and harmful ideas down our throats. Sorry, he's all yours!

6. The More They Try to Seperate from Bush, the Weaker They Appear
Edited on Fri Oct-24-08 06:59 PM by fascisthunter
the attempt is useless, because McCain's history of voting with Bush 95% of the time is already cemented in the mind of the public.

What they are doing is running on Bush policies, yet running away from Bush. You can BS yourself, but not others, not most of the time. Show's how little they think of the people. "Joe the Plumber"... okeedokee Mighty Whitey Rightie! Surrrre.... you stand for the little guy while giving the wealthy a tax break....

11. There are three equal problems for the McCain camp
Palin, Bush and McCain himself.

They need to run away from Shrub, but their only choice at this juncture is to run TOWARD someone who is as fiscally clueless as Bush coupled with someone even more religiously insane than he is.

13. This Just In - Palin found to be only as dumb as a stump, not dumb as a rock as reported earlier.
McCain calls this a major advance for his campaign.

"My friends, I said from the beginning that there was no way Sarah Palin was dumb as a rock, and I've been proven right."

16. now lookie here, moose-mama....
....bush is your fearless-leader, the great decider, the golden trademark of the repug brand....to want to disown him now is political blasphemy on your part....

....if johnny wanted to transform himself and the repug party into something different he would have pursued it years ago....johnny and bush are two peas in a pod, soul brothers joined at the hip on issue after issue....

....for you to come along now and blame you and your campaigns short-comings on the fearless-leader makes me wonder how committed you are to the Republican Party....are you a closet Democratic saboteur?

17. They don't have a party. They never even mention it. They're mav'ricks... who steal just like
Sam Maverick, the original Maverick. He refused to brand his cattle because he wanted to claim that all unbranded cattle were his property. Kinda like how these mav'ricks want to steal the election by having machines that don't put a brand on the votes, so you can just move them around and take what you want.

Look, Sarah, face something, please dear. YOU are the number 1 problem for the Republican presidential ticket. Nobody gives a flying fuck about bush! YOU YOU YOU are the sucky one. You're number one, and McNutjob is a great big stinky number 2.

And she can't see that she's been a big reason for the Republican ticket's current standings with the voters?
