Ernie Lendman, who has homes in Palm Beach and Virginia Beach, is suspicious that he narrowly dodged efforts to keep his vote from counting.
While the Palm Beach County elections office said $1.17 in postage would get his absentee ballot for the Nov. 4 presidential election delivered, postal officials in Virginia said it would take $1.36 to get it to West Palm Beach.

Even if people put the wrong postage on absentee ballots, they will be delivered, said
Gary Sawtelle, a Postal Service spokesman."We understand it is our responsibility to properly handle these absentee ballots," he said. If the postage is wrong, the agency will bill the elections office for the difference.
