Federal agencies examining deadly Lake Township plane crash (Mike Connell, Rove's IT Guy)
Source: CantonRep.com

A preliminary report on Friday night’s plane crash that killed a Summit County man should be posted in early January, but it likely will be several months before the National Transportation Safety Board completes its investigation.

(snip)

So far the investigation shows that the plane had no issues with flight control and there was no icing, Serchak said. The plane’s propeller had damage that indicates the engine was operating when the crash occurred.

A preliminary report should be filed within 10 working days, Serchak said. NTSB has one year to complete it’s factual report and the NTSB board will vote on a probable cause ruling for the accident shortly after the report is filed.

(snip)

Indications are Connell died from massive traumatic injuries. Although the wreckage burned following the crash, Connell’s body wasn’t burned, the spokeswoman said.

I sure would like an explanation of the last sentence in that excerpt.

1. Gee, I am surprised NTSB will get a report out so soon.
We are still waiting for their investigation of the 4 airplanes crashes on 9-11.
Not a peep so far.

11. Didn't they have the wreckage removed by 10 pm. My neighbor a pilot said
that was highly unusual!

17. They definitely have their protocol figured out
When the Wellstone plane crashed, people were startled at how fast the Feds got to the scene. It was as though they were waiting for it to happen. They didn't allow any state or local inspectors.

4. I heard that there was no body; bad initial reporting I guess.
The fire was pretty big - I wonder how he escaped burning.

8. Not after January 20. No report, please, until after then.
I do believe Rove had him offed.

Ever hear of Don Siegelman? Also, Rove's personal story is extraordinary. I believe he is bright, but deeply, deeply disturbed.

We've seen that before.

13. or rove's bosses, or other benefactors, associates in election theft
either way they would have had to be desperate. since they knew he was a flier and plane murders are the easiest to cover up because they destroy evidence and are never investigated with assassination in mind, they figured they could wait a while. but they must have known a segment of americans would wonder and the internet would spend time on it. it was their best choice and they HAD to stop him. there are a lot of people that could be effected by this but to use the plane method would require expertise. unless someone went off on their own. then it might not be a typical high end operation and there might be some clues.

12. NTSB head is a bush/nixon guy
below are some quotes from a poster elsewhere

"Also, NTSB (now acting) Chair is Mark Rosenker. Rosenker most recently served as GW Bush's head of the White House Military Office 2001-2005. He also served in the George HW Bush Administration. And is a retired USAF Reserve General (entered the service in '69).

In 1972, Rosenker was able to be a member of Nixon's Campaign to Reelect the President, also known as CREEP. Since this campaign, Rosenker participated in every presidential campaign to date.

10. How could the body avoid being burned?
I've seen the flaming remains of the plane. Did he jump before it hit the ground?

15. I've read the entire article three times now
and they give no explanation of how the plane burned up, yet not his body. This article makes me more suspicious then I was before.

Are they saying his body was not burned, therefore that could identify him as Connell?

Or was a body found in the wreckage at all?

Today's journalists suck.

19. Couple of guesses on the body
1. There really wasn't much fuel in the tanks. Vapors spark off, creating a large fireball, which catches plants on fire.
2. The cabin was pressurized, which implies a greater degree of structural rigidity. If the cabin wasn't breached, the people on board won't be burned.
3. Fuel probably doesn't travel through the cabin. Low wing airplane, the fuel lines can easily be routed outside of the cabin proper.
4. Cabin broke free of wings, where most of the fuel is stored. Wings catch fire, but not the cabin.

I'm not an accident investigator, and don't have any particular knowledge of this accident, but things happen in accidents that may not be intuitively obvious.
