Obama Taps Three Nominees for Treasury Posts
Source: Wall Street Journal

President Barack Obama Saturday named three more nominees for positions at the U.S. Treasury: Helen Elizabeth Garrett, assistant secretary for tax policy; Michael S. Barr, assistant secretary for financial institutions; and George W. Madison, general counsel. All are subject to Senate confirmation.

1. The press needs to stop using "taps" in headlines.
It has a different connotation, now.

4. Yes! Michael Barr is an old friend!
His sister Lisa was one of my best friends and we all went to the same school growing up....I always liked the smart guys and he was someone who was top of the class, very intelligent and ended up going to Yale, Oxford and Yale law and was a Rhodes Scholar I believe.

Don't know if he has changed over the years, but I can say that he was always a very good guy when we were growing up. :hi:
