OSHA Cites Wal-Mart In 2008 Crowd Death Of Worker
Source: CBS News

The death of a temporary employee who was crushed in a stampede of post-Thanksgiving shoppers at a Long Island Wal-Mart store could have been prevented, federal officials said Tuesday as they proposed fining the world's largest retailer $7,000.

3. While a $7000.00 fine is an insult to his family,
I would think OSHA citing WalMart as responsible would go a LONG way towards proving a wrongful death suit. In short, the onus of getting justice is placed upon the family.
