Sarah Palin in, then out, back in -and now again out of fundraising dinner

Sarah Palin’s on-again, off-again appearance at Monday night’s gala GOP fundraising dinner is off — again.

After being invited — for a second time — to speak to the annual joint fundraiser for the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Palin was told abruptly Saturday night that she would not be allowed to address the thousands of Republicans there after all.

The Alaska governor may now skip the dinner altogether, and her allies are miffed at what they see as a slight from the congressional wing of the Republican Party.

The reason given for the snub, said a Palin aide, was that NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions was concerned about not wanting to upstage former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, the fundraising gala’s keynote speaker.

1. In, out, back in..will she shake it all about?
You put your right foot in,
You put your right foot out;
You put your right foot in,
And you shake it all about.
You do the Hokey-Pokey,
And you turn yourself around.
That's what it's all about!

Sorry couldn't resist after reading that headline.

One thing I will never forgive McCain for is that thanks to him Sarah Palin won't go away and will be on the public stage for a very long time...x(

9. Good list! I always thought Heart's Barracuda was a great fit for Palin!
Kind of surprising they played it as her "anthem" during the campaign - they so didn't get it!

11. I think it's more likely b/c she just got caught PLAGIARIZING from the Newtster, so
sharing the dais could have been...um... AWKWARD to say the least.

Sarah Palin's speech delivered in Anchorage on Wednesday -- the one in which she declared "screw political correctness" and wondered why "we have to pussyfoot around our troublesome foes" -- repeatedly lifted from an article written four years ago by Newt Gingrich and Craig Shirley without attribution.

3. the contrast cannot be greater ...
America is happy that Palin was giving her regular hate speech in Anchorage, Alaska at the same time when Obama was delivering his Peace speech in Cairo.

Glad, it isn't the other way round and double-glad that Americans elected the right team ... Sen. McCain might be the first person to accept it ...

5. Of course she won't go if she can't speak. She thought she should have been able to speak at
McCain's concession speech.

7. She's in and out, huh? Well, with apologies to The Who...
Sarah's got a squawk box she wears in her chest,
And when Newt shows up he never gets no press.
'Cause she's hating all night. And the talk is wa-a-a-ay right.
Sarah's got a squawk box, Newt never sleeps at night.

Well, her kids all drink, and her in-law's a thief,
There's no escape from the drama even when she's asleep.
'Cause she's hating all night. And the talk is wa-a-a-ay right.
Sarah's got a squawk box, Newt never sleeps at night.

She's in then out then in then out then in then out then in then out.
She's stupid all night. And the screed is wa-a-a-ay right.
Sarah's got a squawk box, Newt never sleeps at night.

She goes, "Elect me, come on and select me,
"Come listen to me and only me,
"I'm so in love with me."
Sarah's got a squawk box, Newt never sleeps at night.

She's in then out then in then out then in then out then in then out.
'Cause she's spewing all night. And the hate is wa-a-a-a-ay right,
Sarah's got a squawk box, Newt never sleeps at night.

17. So is Newt too much
of a prima donna to share the stage with SARAH!?

Or is the attention span of the Republican audience so short that they can't listen to two wingnuts in the same evening?

Or maybe both.

18. Who?
Like Betelguese (Beetle Juice), if you do not say her name three times she just will shrink away.

Even if CNN does not want to forget her, we should.
