He rambled on about sources, and investigations, and had to really dig deep to remember the spin-point he was trying to make. Never did mention Mr. Pollard.

who Pollard is? The two issues are in no way linked, and even a dullard like Bush would be able to figure that out standing on his feet.

but it's a possibility. He probably would have danced the same way even if he *did* know. But I was struck by the complete halt in speaking. He ducked his head, squeezed his eyes shut and strained to remember either (a) what he was talking about, or (b) what the talking point was supposed to be.
