24. Acorn could really use the money now
With Congress jumping ship, Obama could show real leadership by standing by his friends.

9. Saw that coming.
He should donate it to some charity that helps people pay their medical bills, use it to underscore the need for health care reform.

12. Yup - saw that too after I heard GOP complaints about him getting it "illegally" while spending
a bundle and making the world less safe. No mention of the fact that their guy got us into an illegal war that cost taxpayers trillions and that he and his buddies benefited from illegally which actually DID make the world less safe. Maddening!

20. No, you missed it, Rush did mention Bush's war.
He said that Bush had 'liberated' millions of Muslims and no one nominated him for a peace prize! :eyes:

He forgot about the million who were liberated from the planet, or the Muslims who were tortured. But Rush never thought that was torture, he thought it was more like 'college hazing' and that putting panties on someone's head was just plain funny.

16. Most gifts that a sitting president gets
goes to the government.

It'll be interesting to watch the debate--to reward the President's favorite charities or to the Treasury, which (if either) is in keeping with legislation?

22. interesting take, but
I doubt that rule applies. It's an award, not one given as a Presidential gift.
