Edited on Thu Mar-11-04 06:22 PM by CO Liberal
Just announced on local radio (KVOR, Colorado Springs).
As of right now, there is no Republican cnadidate to replace Ben Nightmare Campbell.
I'll try to find a link.

1. That's kinda too bad, actually. |

Salazar would have eaten that dude, and then he wouldn't have been able to run for his district. However, if no candidate emerges, I won't complain.

Doesn't it strike you as kind of odd the Republicans seem a little thin for candidates on this thing?
Maybe Marilyn Musgrave - though Salazar would squash her, too.

He's so self-righteous and full of himself he'll think he's doing us a favor. But actually, he will be - because he's a religious nut and his ideology doesn't play well outside of Douglas and JeffCo.

I hate Beauprez. Dave Thomas is running against him last I heard, and I can't wait to vote against him again.

8. I think McInnis will run. |
|
Tancredo is hated by most republicans. While Salazar would beat McInnis, he would totally bitch-smack Tancredo.

12. I Kinda HOPE McPinhead Runs |
|
Then us Democrats can explore the rumors that have been circulating for years about him being involved in several domestic violence incidents with his first wife back when he was a cop in Grand Junction. And why the personnel and court records have somehow mysteriously vanished.
In fact, if he does announce his candidacy, I just may call "60 Minutes", "Dateline", and 20/20" to get the ball rolling....

11. Beauprez just refused to cosponsor our bill . . . |
|
. . . which would have provided more money for school food service. Even CAMPBELL signed on. That tells you something.
