Barbara Bush "does not want to see her family go through a '92 thing again," a Bush official told Time magazine.

I want President Asshole to be the BIGGEST LOSER in history.

I want him to pay for making my 23 year old nephew a quadraplegic and destroying his life.

I want him humiliated in everything he does and everywhere he goes, including a one way ticket ot the Hague to stand trial for crimes against humanity.

Either "Blinded by the Right" David Brock or "Dude wheres my country" Micheal Moore. I believe it was in one of those two books, I would have to check to be sure. I have heard that also, Bush would meet Babs somewhere for dinner. She would get there herself, he would have his fun in the back of the VP limo on the way to dinner. It is out there, it has been published in books.

I don't see the point of bashing Barbara. So she's worried. She probably should be. Strange to see an article like that, I must admit. She said that publicly?

I just noticed no direct quote from Barbara or Laura. Wonder when this Time article is coming out? That would be interesting!

She is evil clear through! Let's have a moment of silence for
poor little Babs the B!

She is never to be trusted. Don't forget in 2000 when the real truth about his drunk driving arrest was twirling, She just dismissed it and the media backed off and wimped out.

I hope like hell she goes through the same experience with Sonny Boy that she did with her wimp of a husband.

The entire family tricked America in 2000.
We were all asleep.
Now we are wide awake and will not rest until the Bush Rats are out of the picture.

Edited on Sun Mar-14-04 06:14 PM by JohnOneillsMemory
http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1033904,00.html
Here's an article called 'So George, How Do You Feel About Your Mom and Dad? from the UK's Guardian newspaper.

It's by a famous British psychologist who got W's family and friend background info on the Bush family. It is very sad.

Daddy was away having his CIA/Oil career and Barbara abused the kids.
Georgie Jr. grew up to be a cruel, anti-intellectual, raging alcoholic with self-destructive tendencies.

Now he's directed his mother-induced negativity on the world.

There, Babs, you ugly, thin-skinned, vindictive, selfish, clueless, greedy, arrogant, ignorant, lying, heartless bitch, stick that in your "beautiful mind" and NEVER FORGET IT, or the depth of our disdain and contempt for you and yours!

You didn't think you could make a comment like "but why should I worry about wars and body bags and battles and Americans dying and all that, I mean it's just not relevant, so why should I worry my beautiful mind over it" and not be held to account for it, now did you? 75. I Might Agree With You
If only Mama Bush didn't seem to be aware of, and using, her title as "respected matriarch/former First Lady" to her mens' political advantage.

The Bush's employ many cannons in their political army, including Babs. One cannot expect her to enter the fray, even with her Southern-gentility-masked comments, and remain free from return attack.

'sides - once you get used to seeing Babs portrayed as something other than a grand, untouchable, holy dame, it becomes remarkably easier to see her for what she is with that benevolent halo stripped away.

Here's another opinion...we've taken more than enough crap from the rightwing of the GOP since Clinton took office in 1992. It's time to fight back with everything we have and quit turning the other cheek.

I don't think you're getting it. This is an all-out war to regain the centers of power that were illegally occupied following the NeoCon Coup of December 2000. This is NOT a game of patty-cake...this is a contest to win control of the most powerful country on the face of the earth.

103. Babs Bush is a Bitch Queen Hell Harpie shat from the Outer Darkness
If she were not corporeal on this planet, she would be deep-throating the thorny red flaming member of Beelzebub himself.

This I know from several sources, most notably Franken's "Lies and the Lying Liars...", and her own arrogant, hateful comments about our soldiers dying in her evil little shit's oil war.

This fiend deserves every bad thing said about her, and more. I can't wait for November to see her little drooling hell-spawn get his ass kicked out of the White House and back to whatever sulfur pit the family sprang from. And the Gods forbid anyone with the last name of Bush to ever hold a public office in this country again.

119. No, it does not. You are either too young
to remember her in the 80's, or 'something' . This is Marie Antoinette with a lot of wrinkles. A silver spoon baby who spawned at least 3 criminals.
If her own quotes don't help you to understand what she is on the inside, nothing will.

My Nana (at 92) was able to dissect this woman down to her reptilian roots.

I respect my elders. I respect those who came before me. I respect knowledge.

I cannot respect her. I will not, however, discuss her, unless she sticks her head out of her den - and into the realm of politics. Then she and her beliefs are fair game.

Let's get someone to write an updated history of the bush clan, about the next generation. Kevin Phillips has shown us how -

The link gives info on George P as well as links to other very informative articles about him and other bush clan members - here's one of those links, titled "Republican Heartthrob":

Vice President Bush affectionately called them 'the little brown ones.'"

CAMPAIGN '92
Political Ads
Decoding Hidden Messages

by Mark Crispin Miller
Mark Crispin Miller teaches media studies at The Johns Hopkins University, where he also heads the Forum for the Study of Campaign Propaganda. He is presently completing a study of the gulf war as media spectacle.

“But first, one of the "positive" Bush-Quayle ads:
1) Backed by a soothing blur of trees, and to the soft sound of a guitar plunking out a bit of gentle Muzak from (it seems) old Mexico, Columba Garnica Bush, the candidate's low-key and attractive daughter-in-law, tells Hispanics (in Spanish) that George Bush cherishes Hispanic values and traditions -- and "I believe him."

>>snip<<
A family man, but clearly in control of his menage: the daughter is above all deferential, the children eerily immobile, as if tranquilized. Thus the candidate appears as an old-fashioned, Mediterranean Dad-type, strict as well as loving: i.e., not a wimp. At the same time, the ad depicts (or would depict) George Herbert Walker Bush not as a stilted, hyper-active Yankee, but as a solid man of Latin warmth, filled with affection both for his own offspring and for all the other "brown ones" in the Western hemisphere. "As president," he says at the end, "I have a lotta reasons to help Hispanics everywhere -- because I'll be answering to my grandkids, not just to history." .The hint of Latin warmth is also visually conveyed by the (unlikely) redness of the candidate's shirt. In (as it were) reality, the old preppy favors drabber colors, but here he wears the red of chili powder and tomato paste -- a red much like the red that glows before him in those potted blossoms placed beside his awkward foot, "anchoring" the triangle with their soft oval mass and presidential hue. “

14. Thinking about this some more
the bush family doesn't leak ANYTHING to the press they don't want to (well usually). Especially stuff like this.

It's a sympathy plea. He is looking like crap, sinking in the polls, his first set of ads got flamed to bits, his second has a dark-skinned "terra-ist" in it, inciting Arab-Americans, his policies have been proven to be shite across the board...

so let's trot out mom and wife and have some "inner sources" reveal their human fears and hand-wringing and especially have momma express concern that she doesn't want her baby to go through what her husband went through....

it'll work on SOME people....it will.....

Poppy trying to tell him why he didn't invade Ira

Poppy: Son, do you know why I decided not to invade Iraq?

W: Haven't a clue dad

Poppy: Really? I put it in my book.

W: Books are Laua's thing.

P: Let me read you some excerpts ...
"An occupation of Iraq would have incurred incalculable
human and political costs . . . There was no viable exit
strategy...

"Had we gone the invasion route, the United States could
conceivably still be an occupying power in a bitterly hostile
land. "

W: I don't recall any of that Dad.

P: But it was reported in all the papers!

W: I don't read newspapers.

P: (thinking to self) Another child left behind
(aloud) Nice to talk to you, son

W: Listen Dad, your either with me or against me.

On March 18, two days before the U.S. invasion, Barbara Bush had an interview with ABC-TV's Diane Sawyer.

''Why should we hear about body bags and deaths and how many, what day it's gonna happen?'' Mrs. Bush declared. ''It's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?''

Karen probably put that out so it will not look like Laura is simply the little robotic Stepford joker smiling vapid, do nothing, never did do anything, leech that she is. I have noticed that Laura tends to compare herself to the other women that are taking photo ops and looking good--this time it is Theresa Heinz Kerry. Now, Laura suddenly is a campaign manager extraordinaire telling them all that she is displeased with the way it is being run. I don't believe it. It is an attempt to one upmanship, which Laura is totally incapable of, of Teresa Heinz Kerry. I am surprised that we don't start seeing Laura being referred to as Laura Welch Bush.

It sure does sound desperate when they have to trot out Laura the badly, eye lifted Stepford, who has done not a damn thing in thirty years with herself, much less with political campaigning, in order to get some positive traction for Mr. stupid George Bush

should they ask her to address George's
AWOL since she seems to have such ideas about how the campaign is being run? Oh , I think she did--he told her he was there, so that makes it true, because as we all know, George tells the truth.

I tell ya, the Bush twins, Barbara and Jenna are lucky that someday their names will become something other than "Bush" even though they may not realize it right now since they are so dependant yet on the Bush money. There is nothing to be proud of at all in that despicable, crass, unintelligent family. If it were me, I would immediately seek to distance myself from that name.

Open discouragement with the Roveian homefront campaign has gone this far? Rove is embroiled in controversy, exposed, and suffering as much from being untouchable(unaccountable, irreplaceable) as he is from his own mistakes.

They have to do the 911 shakeup again. It's a must. LIHOP MIHOP or nothing. Or find some pretext to step down and slink away.

I pray to God that they will get caught or stopped by loyal Americans or others before more innocent civilians die. Even so Al Qaida will make every effort to contribute to some disaster here in the next months. Bush's team has been very prepared to exploit(not prevent) such an attack and they will be ready.

However, even when not being watched critically as they are now, on 911 they were very sloppy(however one interprets that). And many many people are not willing to automatically give Bush any benefit for any conceivable crisis since he has deliberately exacerbated them all worldwide.

The greater the electoral slide the greater the necessity for a crisis. Catch them red-handed before it gets close to that. We have gone beyond simple "dirt" to capital crimes and treason as a necessity for a Bush win.

84. I saw these two posts on Bush's blog
at gwbush04.com

http://www.gwbush04.com/blog/index.php?f=archives/000229.html

Junior,

This time I've really had it. After spending thousands upon thousands of hard invested and inherited dollars on the best private schools, bribes to keep you out of harm's way in the military, "incentive money" to land you in the best fraternaties, and payoffs to my former business associates to land you gainful employment--after over FIFTY years of throwing my money down the drain, you're still an idiotic plebe.

I CANNOT believe you could be so stupid. I thought that a life in the public eye might actually force you to grow up at least a little, and for once in your miserable lackluster existence, might even inspire you to do something mature and adult-like. But no, you're still the same careless slow-witted sluggard that you've always been. I'm tired of it George, I really am. The White House isn't the frat house. Get a grip on that.

Next time you have even an inkling of an inclination to do something as imprudent as Operation Wilson Expose, don't plan on coming home for the holidays. And if you do make it until Christmas without doing something completely idiotic, you can still do us a favor by not coming home. I finally got Jeb calmed down about being cheated out of his other forty-nine states, and I don't want to go through that debacle all over again.

And another thing. Your mother was straightening up your underwear drawer at our retreat in Kennebunkport the other day. She found your little black book with alllllll your little pals' names in it. You know, the one with names like 'Rove," Colter," "Rush?" We know you're running with the drug crowd again, George. That explains a lot of things.

87. The fact is...
... when Bush 41 lost his bid for re-election, he got to pardon eveyone involved in the Iran-Contra affair who could have implicated him. Had he been re-elected, he would have almost certainly faced an investigation the results of which would have done him serious harm.

I can't help but think this Bush* will go out the same way, pardoning lots of people to protect himself. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree here.

Hey Barbara, why should we fret our 'beautiful minds' about anything you have to say? If you don't have time to worry about the troops in Iraq and their deaths, I can't worry about much you have to say.

98. This woman takes the proverbial cake...'devil's food', of course!
She is the ONLY Republican woman who garners more hate posts than other despised women repukes at DU: Coulter, Pickles, Condi, and Hughes. She even beats Poppy, Powell, Perle, Wolfowitz, Rummy, Cheney, and a lot of the other despicable repuke men in her ranks.

After all, she is the MOTHER of the BEAST! She is pure evil!

102. A Closer Reading

Thanks for the website reference. I took a closer look.

I think they are setting up an excuse for BabyBoyBush to exit the scene! Maybe I am wrong but why would they put that out there in the media unless they know that he is cruising for a bruising?

They know that he is drinking again, can't stand the pressure and is using his pacifier and his ear piece more than ever.

Watch,he is going to have some kind of minor health situation. Probably will need a knee replacement. That way they can let him dry out a bit.

Then, you'll see Jeb doing a few stand in appearances for Georgie.
If it is successful, bye bye Georgie and up steps Jeb.

I know it sounds crazy but they have got to get him out of the picture real soon. If Kerry and the Dems keep pounding him like this,he will fold. He looks like a blundering idiot now. What will he look like in a month, two months, convention time?

110. bushwomen
From the Queen B on, the Bush women seem to be a bunch of campaign liabilities, but the Repubs think they're assets. From an Alternet review of Laura Flanders' book 'Bushwomen: Tales of a Cynical Species': "The Bushwomen are the Administration's way of sending two contradictory messages at once. Even as her husband courts social conservatives, Laura Bush lulls moderate voters into believing that the White House is not really in the clutches of the extreme right... .On the campaign trail, the Bushwomen's mission is to help the GOP solve its female problem. For twenty years, a smaller percentage of women than men have cast their votes for Republicans for President. Of course, highly placed females don't necessarily translate into votes, but it's clear the Republican Party thinks the Bushwomen can help."

No doubt they do have some appeal for non-thinking traditional ladies of the right.;(

THEN SHE SAID:

Barbara Bush: BOY, STRAIGHTEN UP OR YOU CAN KISS YOUR ASS GOODBYE./

George: I KNEW I WAS STUPID; NO DOUBT I WAS DUMB, BUT MY MAMA SCARED ME SO MUCH I JUST HAD TO STAY NUMB./ WHEN I SEE HER COMIN AFTER ME I DON'T STAND A CHANCE. JUST STICK YOURSELF IN MOM'S POSITION./ PLEASE TRY TO ENVISION WITNESSIN' YOUR KID SCREWIN' UP SPEECHES -- HIS SYNTAX IS MISSIN'./ BITCHIN 'BOUT COLIN POWELL ALWAYS LEAVIN' A MESS IN THE KITCHEN. I DID MY BEST -- I HUGGED AND I KISSED HIM./ BUT HE'S GOT SO MANY PROBLEMS I CAN'T EVEN LIST 'EM./ HIS WHOLE LIFE I STOOD BEHIND HIM AND PUSHED HIM ALONG./ I EVEN WROTE MOST OF THE WORDS TO THIS SONG. WE REHEARSED IT AND REHEARSED IT AND HE STILL GETS IT WRONG./

George: DON'T HURT ME, MAMA./ DON'T NEVER MEAN TO SHAME YOU/ DON'T NEVER MEAN TO MAKE YOU MAD./ SO TONIGHT I'M HIDIN' IN MY CLOSET.

125. Frank Caliendo and Mo Collins
played Dubya and Mama. Best likeness of both, beads and bumbling.

Episode #806 if you ever can catch it rerun.

When this episode was rerun on March 22, 2003 Fox added a message at the beginning of the episode that said: "THE OPENING PARODY IN THIS EPISODE WAS FILMED PRIOR TO OUR INVOLVEMENT IN THE MIDDLE EAST CONFLICT." The opening parody was a music video about George W. Bush which featured Bush playing with two action figures carrying guns, one was labeled U.S. and the other Iraq.
