Iraq militant video 'shows abducted US contractor'

Source: bbc

An Iraqi militant group has posted an internet video showing an abducted man who may be a US military contractor.

US defence officials say Issa Salomi was last seen in Baghdad on 23 January and that search and recovery efforts are under way, AP news agency reports.
...
He says his abductors also want the prosecution of contractors from US security firm Blackwater.
...
There was no way to verify the authenticity of the video, but the Associated Press quotes a high-ranking Iraqi defence official as saying that Mr Salomi, 60, was abducted by the militant group in the central Baghdad district of Karrada.

1. Important quote on their Blackwater demand:
"And to bring justice by proper compensation to the families that have been involved in great suffering because of this incident."

2. I'm the editor in his hometown, El Cajon. Would appreciate any info on this story or on Salomi.
He owned a food export company called Zooma that was fined by the U.S. Commerce dept. for falsifying documentation on medical gear bound for Iraq (saying it was for Jordan) and lying to U.S. officials.

Wife is local but isn't talking to press.

Would appreciate comments from any who knows this guy or has any info to share that's relevant.
