(Gov. Rick) Perry Warns Tea Partiers to Watch Their Backs
Source: AP

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Gov. Rick Perry is telling tea party organizers across Texas to watch their backs for liberals who wish to do them harm.

In an invitation-only conference call, Perry urged those participating in Thursday's tax day rallies to "continue looking over your shoulder."

Perry was following up on warnings from activist Michael Quinn Sullivan that "some liberals are going to try to infiltrate tea parties with racist signs."

Perry says he's expecting "every dirty trick is going to get played on tea parties."

34. It's not fair to stereotype a whole state
Btw, in the 2008 presidential election Obama got over 3.5 MILLION votes here in Texas.
Although Obama did not win the full state of Texas, Obama won the cities/counties of Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, etc.

Texas is turning into a BLUE state, and hopefully we will vote Perry OUT of office by electing Bill White in November :)

It's the "conservative" movement. Folks like Sarah Palin who are getting rich from your hatred. So keep giving...give until it hurts. Sarah needs a new Mercedes.

5. This oughta be good!
Teabaggers can't help themselves when it comes to racist signs, so there's a high potential for, ummm, 'hyper-vigilance' on the part of the more paranoid members - made even more paranoid by the fucking governor. It's too bad he didn't warn them about misspelled signs designed to make them look stoopid as well; they have no frame of reference, so they'd start calling each other out even over correctly-spelled signs.

Yep, keep lookin' over your shoulders, teabag fuckheads! The vast left-wing conpiracy machine is bearing down on ya!

14. This attempt at intra-group discipline
will cause an inevitable fading of the Teabagger zeitgeist. A lot of their power is from their passion, which is rooted essentially in various undisciplined, unruly expressions of contempt. So far, there has been room in the movement for grass roots eclecticism; anyone with a gripe against Obama, liberals or Democrats had a place at the party. Not anymore. Trying to make them fit a mold, enforcing it from above, will simply an attempt to transform them into something that already exists: mainstream republicans. It's essentially self-defeating to "de-racify" and otherwise make the teabaggers socially acceptable. Their whole shtick is that they don't fit into 'normal' society.

They referred me to his campaign office as expected, but when I talked to them they didn't know anything about this statement. I asked them to tell me of why he would say this and they couldn't tell me a single reference. I told them we didn't need this and for the Governor to continue such talk was just adding to the nut cases and he should stop it.

53. This is the latest move to pin the blame for bad Baggers on the left
What is this, the fifth or sixth statement in one week attempting to plant the blame on liberals for bad spelling, racism, and hate? Combine this with the headline of a couple days ago - "Tea Partiers are Wealthy and Well Educated" and you have what sure looks like a coordinated effort to keep the Tealiban from becoming just another cult.

Watch for all of the blame for misspelling, hate and open stupidity to be pinned on the left by the repuke leadership and the media.
