1. No wonder I didn't feel it...
Too far away and too faint.

Thanks for reporting it!

2. Some folks in Culver City were saying
That they felt it or didn't feel it.... I guess it depends on exactly where you are sitting.

4. in the grand scheme of things - that ain't shit for an earthquake
That's a burp.

We were 2 blocks from the epicenter in Northridge -- THAT was a motherf*cking QUAKE.

15. yeah - are they giving those *be prepared just in case* blurbs on ktla?
Before Northridge, we'd make *surf's up* jokes with 4 and better. It's almost schitzophrenic - you need to develop a blase attitude for the *shorties*, but you still worry about the mythical *big one*.

Glad I'm in Georgia at times like that.

10. 3.9 is, "Did you feel something?"
In the San Fernando Valley, we didn't. From the coordinates, I'd say we were 35 or 40 miles away. We felt the one in Calexico on Easter, 120 miles away.

14. In Camarillo, and that's exactly what we said!
It was practically right underneath and we both weren't sure it was even a quake, like maybe it was a sonic boom or a really big freight train.

11. I was twelve miles from it and did not realize an earthquake happened! Of course I was in the
theater watching Ironman so it must have been masked by the noise and vibrations from the movie.
