BP's Hayward - Gulf oil spill was preventable

WASHINGTON, June 17 (Reuters) - BP Plc <BP.L><BP.N> Chief Executive Tony Hayward said on Thursday the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico was preventable.

"I believe that all accidents are preventable," Hayward told a House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations in response to a question from a lawmaker.

5. How about beating up people who did "deregulation" thing once in a while?
American people are ultimately responsible for forever deregulating, sacrificing public policy for very short term economical gain. Just saying...
