(Australian PM) Howard dodges volley of shoes

JOHN Howard learned to field a lot of insults during his 11 years as prime minister, but last night he had to dodge flying shoes.

Appearing on ABC-TV's Q&A program, Mr Howard was defending his decision to take Australia into the war in Iraq when a member of the audience lost patience and threw two shoes at him.

The shoes missed. Mr Howard appeared surprised, then amused.

Host Tony Jones ordered security to remove the long-haired young man and apologised to Mr Howard

(and I don't make planes. have no idea how to make planes :P, like blowing bubble gum) unless someone got smart and brought there own rubber bands :P (PS no don't stick your thumb up when aiming, thumb is going in the direction of the aim :) aim lower for better hits. course honestly I only aimed one only when I received one. Doesn't really hurt people if you aim away from their face. Rarely at women unless they got the joke or were in on it... (feel like Le Pacte De Loups here) I hope they were stinky shoes. At least the guy didn't have a bomb strapped to his nuts.
