Cargo plane bomb plot: David Cameron not informed of terror threat for 16 hours

Questions are being asked about the length of time it took to inform David Cameron and the British Government about the ink cartridge bomb plot.

At 11pm last night officials released a statement saying a meeting of Cobra, the government's emergency group, had taken place yesterday.

But Downing Street remained silent.

Two weeks earlier Mr Cameron had delayed the start to a rare Downing Street press conference as news of a bungled American attempt to rescue British hostage Linda Norgrove emerged from Afhhanistan

This time he went on with his press conference, apparently unaware of the drama unfolding as he spoke. He was not briefed until shortly after 2pm, 10 hours after the package was found and 16 hours after Barack Obama, the US President, was informed of the threat.

1. So how is this...
Obama's fault? Oh, I see, it was a false flag operation and this proves it because Obama didn't want to tell the Brits. That Obama is a sneaky devil, faking a terrorist strike a few days before the election. Has Fox News been informed yet?

2. the delay is explained in the article and don't see anyone blaming it on Obama

3. I was putting out there
how it might play on False News over the weekend and how the Reich Wing talkers will play it on Monday. I'll start using the Smilies lookup table since I'm sort of new here and use :sarcasm: next time.
