who blew the cover of CIA agent Valerie Plame and should be fired is the question at hand.
The answer is the White House and the CIA - but Bush pretends not to know "who".
But at DU we know furious with Wilson means the White House is allowed to commit felonies and not worry about laws.
But "Senior Bush Folks" - guess who! - say that dumping on the wife - outing Ms. Plame - was not to punish Wilson, but to refute him: Ms. Plame's involvement in Wilson's selection for the Niger assignment trivializes him, makes him seem less an expert and more of a hack on a nepotistic boondoggle. Indeed in Bush think, Wilson outed her (as a CIA Agent) when he wrote that he had gone to Niger on CIA-sponsored work.
Let me know if you understand that logic (granted the Eastern Liberal Media has sucked up that excuse).
