Nevada Unions To Rally For Wisconsin Workers

LAS VEGAS -- Public employee union members will spend part of the Presidents Day holiday marching in support of workers in Wisconsin, who have drawn national attention through their fight to protect collective bargaining rights.

The Education Support Employees Association, Nevada State Education Association and the Nevada AFL-CIO organized two protests in Las Vegas and Reno on Monday.

The Las Vegas rally will begin at noon in front of the Grant Sawyer Building on Washington Avenue near Las Vegas Boulevard.

Both unions have warned that if Wisconsin workers lose collective bargaining rights it would have a ripple effect throughout the country.
