Exclusive - Speaker Boehner on Budget Negotiations: 'No Daylight Between Tea Party and Me'

Speaker of the House John Boehner said he is in lockstep with the Tea Party on budget negotiations despite claims from Democrats that there could be a deal if only he could buck the Tea Party.

“Listen, there’s no daylight between the Tea Party and me,” Boehner told me today during our exclusive interview.

“None?” I asked

“None. What they want is they want us to cut spending. They want us to deal with this crushing debt that’s going to crush the future for our kids and grandkids. There’s no daylight there,” he said.

....c'mon boner, there is no 'crushing debt' only a Republican created crisis designed for election 2012....

....this is all quite simple, boner....first, stop giving away money we don't have to the rich and corporations then make the rich and corporations pay their fair share of taxes, preferably Eisenhower era taxes (did you know he was a Republican?)

....second, pass a law that makes it illegal not to provide discounted food prices to Seniors on Social Security each year that you chump us on our COLA....(it may not help with the expenditures, but I'll eat better and be happier)

....third, pass a law that makes it illegal for the private sector not to provide Medicare services, and not to provide those services at established government rates....

....Revenue problem solved, Social Security problem solved, Medicare problem solved....easy, but if the above shouldn't work, return here and we'll help you with even more creative suggestions....
