A COURT has ruled the Facebook twins can't back out of a settlement in their case against Mark Zuckerberg.

A panel of federal judges ruled that Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss will have to stick with the deal they made in their lawsuit charging that Mark Zuckerberg stole their idea for Facebook.

"The Winklevosses are not the first parties bested by a competitor who then seek to gain through litigation what they were unable to achieve in the marketplace," three Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals judges said in a ruling.

"At some point, litigation must come to an end," the judges continued. "That point has now been reached."

That's how this shit works. Steve Jobs doesn't work in a shop putting together computers and ipads, but he still profits from their sale. The companies that actually build those products can't just sell them without going through apple; they can't just "take someone else's idea and run with it".

Their site and ideas were nothing like what Facebook became and they had no ambition to take it national. The idea to have an online community for their school wasn't their idea. We were doing that back when I was in college in 1995 and I'm sure other people did it before that.
