1. Very strong aftershocks (seashocks) in the northern part of Honshu
UPDATE 2:58 UTC : We fear that a totally new subduction zone is becoming unstable with the risk of many aftershocks

UPDATE 2:55 UTC : The epicenter lies along the same subduction zone responsible for the massive March 11 earthquake.

UPDATE 2:52 UTC : The epicenter of the aftershocks is coming a lot closer to Hokkaido

UPDATE 2:50 UTC : Maximum intensity for both aftershocks = 3 (on a scale from 0 to 7).

2 very strong aftershocks on top of the subduction zone of northern Honshu but luckily at a safe distance out of the coast. The location of the epicenter is surprisingly more to the north of 90% of the other aftershocks.
Epicenter is at least 150 km from the coastline and this NOT dangerous.
There was NEVER a tsunami danger.

This are the data of both aftershocks :

Most important Earthquake Data:
Magnitude : 6.0
UTC Time : Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 01:54:40 UTC
Local time at epicenter : Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 11:54:40 AM at epicenter
Depth (Hypocenter) : 3.7 km
Geo-location(s) :
187 km (116 miles) E of Hachinohe, Honshu, Japan
226 km (140 miles) ENE of Morioka, Honshu, Japan

2. Japanese media don't show any offshore earthquakes for Honshu
for today except for a 4.5 off the coast of Miyagi that occurred 11 hours ago, and a 4.4 that occurred off the coast of Ibaraki about an hour before that.

4. This is the link I have bookmarked
http://www.iris.edu/seismon/

Red circles indicate today's earthquakes. Click on any of the red circles to open new screens with closeups maps and details about the specific earthquake area in which you're interested. There are eight new earthquakes listed for the Honshu area, from a 4.5 to a 6.0 and a 6.1

5. I can't find any information from Japanese sources about an offshore earthquake
that would have happened off the coast of Honshu at a little before 11:00 a.m. yesterday local time. No Japanese news reports, and no record of it in Yahoo Japan or Tenki.jp. Tenki.jp especially has a pretty thorough record of earthquakes in Japan and it had no mention of a 6.0 occurring at that time. And if there had been a 6.0 earthquake in that area at that time, I'm pretty sure I would have felt it. However, there was definitely a 6.0 that occurred last night Japan time, as my house felt for a minute like it was a boat out at sea and NHK interrupted regular broadcasting to provide news about the earthquake.

3. Just a few minutes ago, there was a 6.0 earthquake off Honshu
just off the coast of Choshi in the NE corner of Chiba Prefecture. 10:37 p.m. Japan Standard Time.
