Samsung sues Apple after accusations of 'copying'
Source: BBC News

Samsung Electronics is suing Apple, claiming its rival violated its patent rights, days after Apple accused Samsung of "slavishly" copying designs of its iPad and iPhone.

1. Well, this will take some time in the courts....
but, that is the prerogative of both companies.

At least the legal staffs will be kept busy working for a long time.

2. Frankly, Samsung is always so far ahead of Apple it is hard to see how it could lose.
I know Apple tries very hard to wait for a release until they've worked out the bugs, but that usually puts them pretty far behind the curve. That wasn't the case in '84 with the first Mac, or with some of the other desktop models. I've got one of their little "tissue paper box" Macs, and there's nothing else like it. But they've really dropped the ball with the hand-held/portable market.

3. It's a counter-suit.
I could fill LBN all day and all night with stories of tech companies suing each other.
