NYC board: Trump skipped 21 years of primaries
Source: Associated Press

NEW YORK—The New York City Board of Elections says Donald Trump didn't vote in any primary elections for 21 years.

The board says the possible Republican presidential candidate voted in a primary election in the 1989 primary for mayor, then didn't vote in another primary for 21 years. 1989 is when Rudy Giuliani beat businessman Ronald Lauder. Trump also skipped the 2002 general election.

His lawyer Michael Cohen said Saturday that "for one of the greatest international businessmen who travels all over the country and the world, his voting record is very, very good."

6. Can a thread be a dupe if the same was posted 5 minutes earlier in GDP?

I'm just asking this because 80% of my LBN threads end up transferred to another forum.

9. yes
( former LBN mod here) LBN is the only forum where duplicates aren't allowed.
Most thread that are moved are either over 24 hours old (one of the rules), or are not breaking news. Lots of time people post opinion articles, or feature stories, not breaking news.

11. His lawyer's comment is a tacit admission that the Donald is too busy to be in public service.
Too busy to vote? Too busy to run.

His lawyer Michael Cohen said Saturday that "for one of the greatest international businessmen who travels all over the country and the world, his voting record is very, very good."

In fact he boasted about it. Didn't stop Californians from voting for that clown twice!
