Donald Trump denies poor voting record--US tycoon reacts with fury
Source: Guardian UK

Records unearthed by NY1, Trump's hometown news station, show he has not voted in primary elections for 21 years. City election board spokeswoman Valerie Vazquez confirmed NY1's story at the weekend.

The news prompted a furious denial from Trump. "I voted in every general election … You're going to pay a big price because you're wrong ... I have records that I voted and so does the board of elections … I signed in at every election," he told NY1.

How can Trump run for president if he blows his top all the time? He is trying to get ratings for his show and up his name value...this guy wouldn't make it on the campaign trail for a month with his attitude.

He is a bully. A hot-headed BULLY. He does not understand government either - he made a fool of himself going on the defensive about "right to privacy."

65. Trump can lie just like any other Republic Party stooge
Fox News will defend him. So will Pigboy and the Right Wing apologists on talk radio.

Trump could say that 2+2=5, and Fox News would lead the Corporate Controlled Conservative Press onslaught defending that. And millions of Americans would get in the Republican line and march off the cliff singing ¢hri$tian hymms like the lemmings the Koch Brothers want them to be.

Not that I would do it, I was alone in an elevator with the very small Newt Gingrich once and managed to restrain the incredible urge to kick him in the nuts. I'll admit, there was a fraction of a second when I thought... shit I may just get away with this then visions of Rikers island floated in my head and I chickened out.

Donald Trump though, I may be able to pull off a weekend at Rikers to be a hero to pretty much every New Yorker that ever walked South of Midtown.

i wouldn't be the least bit surprised, if all this coverage of the trump asshole is just a feint, that'll make the US public heave a sigh of relief when he comes in last at the primaries, with the bachman-palin overdrive fringe. so the real candidate gets his shot of legitimacy, by sheer contrast.

and going by trump's history, i wouldn't be surprised if he's paid for selling his ass & making himself a buffoon & a distraction, from the real agenda.

NO CEO - not ONE - is up to it. CEOs are used to being gods. Their word is law, theirs is the LAST and ONLY word, besides. They're not used to having to share power with a whole bunch of contrarians (maybe as many as 435) down the street. That's why it's sheer folly to assume government can be run like a business - it just doesn't work that way!!! You need a whole different mentality than that, to do government work well. Or you need to be able to adapt and thoroughly shift gears. Not many CEOs could do that - or would care to.

cheney didn't like having to answer questions either. Typical CEO I-am-thy-lord-and-master disease.

romney would be the same way. Besides, my dog won't let me vote for romney, but then again, that's a whole 'nother story.

mitt romney showed himself to be someone who values inanimate things over living creatures (SELECT humans exempted).

The THINGS, luggage and shit, get stowed safely INSIDE the car with mitt and the family for the long road trip to the summer vacation spot. The poor family dog gets stuck in a dog crate, strapped TO THE TOP OF THE CAR - OUTSIDE, blown all over the place by the fierce rushing of air to which it was exposed as the car sped down the highway, scared shitless (literally - it crapped all over itself AND the roof AND down the sides of the car while the family and all the vacation luggage was safe and warm and secure inside the car). mitt recalled having to hose the car down when they stopped for gas, oh yeah - and hose the dog down too, whereupon the dog was locked back up in the crate and strapped back up on top of the car for the rest of the journey, only now the dog was also WET. I think I recall mitt saying, reassuringly, that they'd configured a wind-screen up there for the dog crate, but it obviously didn't offer much comfort or shelter if the dog shat all over itself and the outside of the car during the first half of the drive. Schmuck should have strapped THE LUGGAGE up there on the roof of the car and kept the dog inside the car with the rest of the family.

Despicable man. Cruel cavalier cold heartless thoughtless bastard. He doesn't fool me for an instant. Also, he founded this fucking PIRATE "private equity firm" Bain Capital. Bain Capital owns Guitar Center. They recently built a new Guitar Center in West L.A. to go after - and run out of business - this little family-owned, highly-respected small business, West LA Music, that's been there for decades and served musicians major and minor, celebrated and unknown, all over L.A. The little store is struggling to stay afloat against the big box behemoth up the street that can ruthlessly underprice its stuff lower than what the little store can offer and still stay in business.

I hope in his next life he has to come back as mitt romney's dog.

I've never believed for a minute that he actually intended to follow through with this candidacy, but hopefully his flameout will make the American public tire of him such that I don't have to see his ugly mug and the "hairicane" on his head ever again.

Keep at it, Donald. Like Def Leppard and The Kurgan said, "It's better to burn out than fade away."

41. New York is a closed primary state. Not voting in the primaries was a smart business move actually.

62. Well, if that's the case, running for President is probably the worst move you can make.
Not that the Donald is a stranger to bad business moves.

49. Gore didn't win (an uber landslide) because he got up in Bush's face. Dean lost the primaries...
...because he yelled at a fucking rally.

Trump would never in a million years win.

55. VIP's don't vote in the lowly primary process
That's why he is running for President. No sense starting at some lower position.

... whichever is sooner. The lineup is typically announced mid-May.

67. The Donald is well-known for having a very thin skin
and being highly allergic to any criticism leveled against him. He is equally well-known for furiously lashing out against who or what proffered the criticism. It is for these two reasons that I believe that he will ultimately be forced to withdraw from contention for the GOP nomination. Trump is used to being kowtowed and deferred to and the rough and tumble of politics and the scrutiny of the press, lax as MSM media is these days, are things he is not able to face. Even if the GOP wanted to give him the nomination, his over-the-top reactions to negative stories in the press would prove too embarrassing for them.

69. A real small question
How about campaign contributions to primary campaigns? Maybe it is part of his whole strategy but it makes you wonder what he thinks of primaries in the first place. No sense having too many losers spread out the odds and hedging. Now that he is in a primary of course...Then he may just be the very type to have the savvy to bolt the GOP system which would likely stack the deck against him.

I am guessing this is is an obtuse indicator that Trump, once he has started an idiotic brawl among the other GOP clowns will stand smirking to the side as an independent candidate if he can figure some way to keep in the publicity limelight.

Then again everything about him as well as the other GOP ham sandwiches militates against wasting speculations on how ludicrous candidacies strategize.

72. LOL! They accuse him of never voting in the PRIMARIES, so
So he reacts "with fury" that he voted in THE GENERAL ELECTIONS?

LOL, he knows his "fury" is staged for the benefit of those too stupid to know the difference.
