Plane crashes into NM lake; no survivors; drugs found
Source: KOB TV - Albuquerque



Officials say no survivors were immediately found. As of evening, search teams were still looking in rainy and overcast conditions. The exact number of occupants is not known.

State police say a few kilo-sized packages of cocaine were retrieved floating among the wreckage.

to crash into a lake in this state. I think they're maybe 5 in the whole state. It's like crashing into the side of a mountain in Florida.

5. I'd say the opposite. Finding a water landing in New Mexico would be a trick.
Otherwise it high impact landing on rocks. I'll take a water landing over jagged boulders anytime.
